Dayonne Richardson is a children’s book author, instructional coach, and founder of Mirror Mirror Books LLC. With over a decade in education, she is passionate about helping students and educators feel seen, valued, and inspired.

 

Since 2020, she has authored three children’s books—I Told the Storm, Our Gift, Grace, and A Letter to My Favorite Student—each centered on growth, grace, and the powerful bond between teachers and students. Her stories come to life through character plushies, creating meaningful connections beyond the page.

 

Dayonne has led professional development for thousands of educators, facilitated writer’s workshops, and hosted international read-alouds, including audiences in Dubai.

 

Her mission is simple but powerful: to ensure every child sees themselves reflected in the stories they experience—because the mirror matters.
